Churmuri Poha
Churmuri poha is one of the dish prepared specially at Karnataka. This dish can be had in the morning as breakfast or in the evening as snacks.the lovely dish which will turn you crazy and make you have another round of it. Get this lovely food satisfaction with your family by preparing it at home, as it can be prepared easily for you and your loved once.
Ingredients:
1Tomato
1 Onion
4-5 Green Chillies
1 bowl of Groundnuts
Few Leaves of Coriander
1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric powder
Cooking Oil
Salt
1/2 teaspoon of Jeera and Black and brown mustards.
1/2 teaspoon of Jeera and Black and brown mustards.
1/4 kilogram Churmuri
Instruction:
1.Wash tomato, onion, green chillies and coriander and chop them. Keep them aside in a medium bowl. Soak churmuris in water and remove them and keep it in the vessel or some bowl.
2.Firstly,heat oil in a pan/vessel.add 3-4 teaspoon of oil. Add black and 1/2 teaspoon of brown mustard seeds and jeera to it and fry it well in the oil.
3.Add chopped onion and chillies and stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes.
4.And now add chopped tomatos and also add groundnuts and stir-fry.
5.Add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt to it.
6.Now slowly add churmuri to the pan/vessel and stir it properly till it gets yellow colour and till it get mixed with the cooked vegetable.Also add bengal gram-roasted chana powder to it and stir it well.
7.Now if you want then add little bit of sugar to it and put the leaves of coriander on it.
Now the Churmuri Poha is ready to serve.
